The Opportunity
We are seeking reliable Stone Benchtop Installers to join our team. In this important role, you will be responsible for the professional installation and repair of stone benchtops and other interior stone architectural features, ensuring every project is completed to the highest standards.
As a key representative on-site, your efficiency, organisation, and attention to detail will be crucial in helping us deliver an exceptional experience to our customers.Working closely with our front-end and production teams, you will attend sites, assess installation conditions, ensure materials match specifications, and deliver superior installation services.
Typical duties will include
- Installing and repairing stone benchtops to a high standard
- Ensuring all installations meet customer expectations and company quality requirements
- Conducting site checks to confirm layout, readiness, and access before commencing work
- Communicating effectively with customers, builders, and internal teams
- Operating company vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently
- Identifying and reporting any safety, quality, or maintenance issues
- Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes
Ideally, you will have
- Experience in stone benchtop installation or other equivalent trades
- A technical understanding of stonemasonry and different types of materials and finishes.
- High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to think laterally when challenges arise
- A solid understanding of cabinetry design and installation processes
- A proactive approach to workplace health and safety, with a focus on safe work practices and continuous improvement
- A current White Card
- A full driver’s licence with no restrictions
What we would like
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- Experience in stone benchtop installation or other equivalent trades (preferred but not essential)
- Confidence using hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- The ability to develop rapport readily
- High level problem solving skills, and a keen eye for detail
- Strong organisational skills to ensure projects run smoothly and within the required time frames
