Summary:

We are seeking two experienced Pega Technical Architects to join our team in Sydney, New South Wales. In this pivotal role within the Defence and Military sector, you will leverage your expertise in Pega technology to design and implement robust solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. Your contributions will be essential in driving innovation and ensuring the successful delivery of projects that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Details:

Each of the Pega Technical Architects will be responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of business solutions based on the Pega platform for a range of current and future projects. They will collaborate with business subject matter experts and various Engineering and Technology teams to collect requirements and define, design, develop, test and support applications leveraging Pega system software.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Pega applications in accordance with best practices and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Lead the technical architecture and design discussions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members on Pega best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality assurance processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Pega applications and environments.
  • Stay updated with the latest Pega technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Pega development and architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Pega frameworks, including PRPC, BPM, and case management.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or higher certification is preferred.
