Summary:

The Executive Manager Technology will play a pivotal role in driving the technological vision and strategy of our organisation in Warragul, Victoria. This position is essential for ensuring that our IT infrastructure and services align with business objectives, fostering innovation, and enhancing operational efficiency. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic team, oversee technology projects, and collaborate with various departments to implement cutting-edge solutions that support our growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for technology, cyber security, digital platforms, and data governance across the organisation.
  • Contribute to organisational strategy as an active member of the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Technology team to deliver best‑practice service and uphold Myli’s values.
  • Oversee technology performance, infrastructure, and vendor relationships to ensure cost‑effective, scalable, and secure systems.
  • Govern cyber security frameworks, including alignment with the Essential Eight Maturity Model.
  • Provide executive oversight for business continuity, resilience, and incident response.
  • Develop and deliver technology projects, ensuring proactive engagement with stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Board and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Manage departmental budgets and ensure compliance with procurement and organisational policies.
  • Maintain documentation, cross‑skilling, and succession planning to reduce single‑point‑of‑failure risks.
  • Monitor technology trends and communicate insights to support organisational growth and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in management (desirable).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior technology leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and managing cyber security frameworks, including the Essential Eight.
  • Strong understanding of Australian privacy laws, cyber security standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience managing complex IT infrastructure and leading organisational technology growth.
  • Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
  • Current Working with Children Check, Police Check (or willingness to obtain), and a valid driver licence.
