The Opportunity

We are seeking a warm, organised, and experienced full-time Administration / Receptionist to be the face of our Norwood clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients — in person and by phone — while supporting our dedicated team of GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals.

What You’ll Do

•Greet patients and manage check-in / check-out processes efficiently and warmly
•Handle a high volume of inbound calls, appointment scheduling, and recall management
•Manage billing including Medicare, DVA, and private accounts
•Maintain accurate patient records using Best Practice software
•Process referrals, results, and correspondence for GPs and allied health providers
•Liaise with on-site Clinpath Pathology and radiology services
•Assist with opening and closing procedures and general clinic administration
•Support the Practice Manager and colleagues with day-to-day tasks

What We’re Looking For

•Previous medical reception or general practice administration experience — highly regarded
•Confidence with Best Practice software (experience preferred)
•Strong understanding of Medicare billing, DVA, and HCC concessions
•Exceptional interpersonal skills and genuine compassion for patients
•Ability to multitask calmly in a fast-paced environment
•High accuracy, attention to detail, and professional discretion
•Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
•Fluency in a second language is an advantage — we serve a multicultural community
