The Australasian College of Health and Wellness (ACHW) is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Facilitator – Clinical Aesthetics to join our Melbourne Clinic.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified industry professional to combine hands-on clinical expertise with teaching and mentoring, helping students develop the practical skills, confidence and professionalism needed to succeed in the fast-growing aesthetics industry.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of School, you will supervise and guide students undertaking the Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Clinical Aesthetics) program in a clinical learning environment.
You will provide practical instruction, coaching and assessment while ensuring safe, effective and best-practice treatment protocols are followed.
Areas of Clinical Supervision Include:
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage
- Electrical Facial Treatments
- Clinical Microdermabrasion & Chemical Peels
- Skin Needling & Dermaplaning
- Light-Based Therapies (hair reduction, rejuvenation, vascular and pigmentation concerns, tattoo removal)
- Plasma Pen
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging practical training and clinical supervision
- Mentor students throughout their learning journey
- Assess competency through formative and summative assessments
- Promote professional behaviours, clinical reasoning and treatment excellence
- Maintain high teaching and quality standards
- Contribute to curriculum and content improvements
- Complete relevant administration, reporting and student records
- Participate in meetings, professional development and team initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Aesthetics, Dermal Therapy, Health Science or related discipline
- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Graduate Certificate in Training
- Minimum 5 years’ clinical supervision experience, ideally in a cosmetic or aesthetics environment
- Strong practical experience across relevant clinical treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and support diverse learning needs
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Highly Regarded:
Previous teaching or training experience
- Experience delivering education to small groups (5–12 participants)
- Experience within a Registered Training Organisation or Higher Education environment
