Role Type
Description
Events & Partnerships Manager
Hop Products Australia (HPA)
North Hobart | Full-Time or Part Time considered | Australia’s Leading Hop Grower
Own and deliver a national events, sponsorship and partnerships program that brings our brand to life across Australia’s craft beer and agricultural communities.
We’re looking for an Events & Partnerships Manager to lead our end-to-end events, partnerships, and sponsorship portfolio, from shaping the annual strategy and calendar through to executing high-quality, on-the-ground experiences that deliver brand, commercial and strategic value.
This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking strategically and rolling up their sleeves when it counts. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll set the agenda, lead delivery, and work closely with internal teams, customers, partners and agencies to create events and partnerships that truly matter.
You’ll lead with creativity, commercial thinking, and attention to detail – while still loving the logistics that make great events possible.
Why Join Us
- Work at the intersection of agriculture, craft brewing, and community.
- Join a supportive, down‑to‑earth team that values initiative and ideas.
- Real autonomy – you’ll be trusted to lead your deliverables.
- Exposure to international BarthHaas Group stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Own and shape our annual events, partnerships and sponsorship calendar.
- Deliver end‑to‑end trade shows, customer events, farm tours and activations.
- Source, negotiate and manage partnerships and sponsorship agreements.
- Manage budgets, contracts and post‑event ROI reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and external partners.
- Ensure every initiative delivers clear brand, commercial or strategic value.
About You
You enjoy building relationships, stay calm under pressure, and take pride in delivering events that are both polished and commercially effective. You’re organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, while still loving the detail and logistics that make great events possible.
This is offered as a permanent full-time role, but we would consider 4 days per week or a 9-day fortnight for the right candidate.
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in events, partnerships, or B2B marketing.
- Proven ability to deliver events from concept to execution.
- Strong organisation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets and evaluating ROI.
- Comfort with travel and occasional evening/weekend work, balanced with flexibility.
- A genuine interest in craft beer, agriculture, and community‑led industries.
Bonus (but not essential): Experience with CRM or event platforms; or a background in craft beer, beverage, or agriculture.
Apply Now!
If you enjoy creating memorable experiences and building meaningful partnerships, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply by attaching your resume, a brief cover letter, and answering the screening questions.
