Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Analyst - 1 with strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, Azure DevOps, and Cucumber BDD frameworks as well as expertise in validating industrial electronics products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks from scratch, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile environments. The candidate must possess deep knowledge of test automation best practices, framework architecture, and automation strategy, with a proven track record of building scalable and maintainable automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, desktop application, backend software, and device firmware.
- Work extensively with Cucumber BDD framework and Gherkin feature files.
- Make use of industry leading AI products such as Cursor, VS Code.
- Enhance and support existing automation frameworks to improve scalability, maintainability, and execution efficiency.
- Implement Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, Hybrid, and Keyword-Driven framework designs.
- Integrate automated tests into Git, CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Analyse test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for issue resolution.
- Develop reusable automation utilities, libraries, and reporting mechanisms.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and test strategy discussions.
- Perform API testing and automate API test cases where applicable.
- White box testing of first-party telematics hardware
- Black box testing and validation of third-party telematics hardware
- Generate test reports and quality metrics for stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, automation best practices, and coding
Required Skills & Education:
- 6-10 years of experience in software testing majorly on Selenium, Java, Git, Cucumber, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, with a strong understanding of automation best practices and framework architecture.
- Experience with ERP projects, Performance Testing with Jmeter or Playwright MCP tool will be added advantage.
- Experience with industrial electronics or cellular consume electronics a plus
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
