Job Description

You Will:

• Manage and support accounting and tax related (local & corporate) activities for Czech & Slovak Entities
• Co-operation with the tax department or external tax advisors on tax agenda – ensure that all supporting documentation was provided by GL team
• Organize onboarding of new colleagues
• Manage and support the team members with day to day activities (team of 4 Accountants) – development and goals, organization of work of team members, organization of 1:1, team meetings, participate on GL team meetings
• Co-ordinate and perform month/quarter/year end closing activities in required deadlines – ensure that the given deadlines are met
• Balance Sheet review & Reconciliations – cooperate on process set up, review reconciliations prepared by the team
• Communication with Tax Authorities, auditors
• Leading centralized team for Fixed Assets
• Participate in more complex accounting projects and initiatives within the company
• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
• Set clear team goals
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines
• Oversee day-to-day operation
• Monitor team performance and report on metrics
• Motivate team members
• Discover training needs and provide coaching
• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts

• Suggest and organize team building activities

Qualifications

You'll Need:

• 2+ years of experience on similar position
• Solid accounting knowledge (IFRS oriented advantage)
• Experience in a multinational corporation
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, able to provide information in detail, same as high level approach
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English (B2) and Czech
• Be Team Player, supportive and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks
• Be Team Leader, able to demonstrate managerial skills of small team of specialist
• Ability to set priorities and work under time pressure with can-do attitude
• MS Office skills, advanced level in MS Excel
• Knowledge of Accounting system MS Dynamics NAV and/or SAP is an advantage
