Job Description

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team!

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN...

The Solution Architect will provide technical leadership and guidance for technology projects. As an architect, he/she will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to understand business requirements, develop technical strategies, and design comprehensive technology solutions. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that technology solutions are aligned with strategic objectives and that they meet the highest standards for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Collaborate with technology teams to understand business requirements and develop technical strategies, architectures, and solutions.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex solutions, including systems architecture, data architecture, integration architecture, and security architecture.
  • Define and manage technical requirements, including performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and products that align with business needs and architectural standards.
  • Develop and maintain architectural and technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, system interfaces, and data models.
  • Provide guidance and technical leadership to development teams throughout the software development cycle.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and emerging technologies in the industry to ensure solutions are innovative and competitive.
  • Actively collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture department.
  • Proactively create and deliver architecture on selected products in Enterprise Architect SPARX or MIRO (will depend on which tool is the enterprise-level standard at the time).

Qualifications

  • strong understanding of technology trends and emerging technologies, as well as a deep understanding of current technologies, tools, and frameworks
  • ability to analyze business requirements, identify technical solutions, and evaluate technology options
  • ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as to other members of the development team
  • ability to lead a team of developers, provide guidance and technical direction, and ensure that the technical vision is being followed
  • ability to identify and solve complex technical problems, both independently and as part of a team
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • ability to work effectively with other members of the development team, as well as with business stakeholders and external partners
  • ability to think strategically about the long-term goals of the organization, as well as the technical solutions required to achieve them
  • communication skills in English, both written and verbal
