Join our Financial Accounting team as a Senior GL Accountant and play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant financial statements each month. You’ll lead journal entry preparation and review, ensure precise Balance Sheet reconciliations, and resolve accounting issues in line with local legislation and IFRS standards.

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• Fluent English & Czech, great Excel skills

• Understand Financial Statements & fiscal closing activities

• An analytical mind, attention to detail, and a team spirit

• Knowledge of asset management

• High school diploma/Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required (preferably from university in Czech republic/Slovakia)

• Preparing and posting complex journal entries for company accounts, ensuring information is accurate and up to date (Intercompany, Fixed Assets, others)
• Perform a Month End Closing activity (Deferrals, Accruals, FX revaluation, and others)
• Balance sheet reconciliation; investigating more complex discrepancies and determining the appropriate course of action
• Developing spreadsheets for account analysis and journal entries to keep records organized and standardized
• Administration of VAT returns and other reporting to local tax authorities
• Intercompany agenda
• Cooperate with internal and external partners as auditors, tax advisors, local authorities, and other departments
• Documenting and coordinating the implementation of accounting control procedures
• You may provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced colleagues
• Participating in diverse projects to provide expertise
