At least 4 years of accounting experience in a similar position

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Understanding of financial statements and fiscal closing activities

Ability to set priorities and work under time pressure with a can-do attitude

Advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel

Czech or Slovak language proficiency, fluent English

Knowledge of SAP, Navision

Prepare and post statutory journal entries

Prepare and post complex journal entries for company mergers, liquidations, and acquisitions

Perform IFRS and statutory ledger reconciliations

Review balance sheets and investigate complex discrepancies, determining the appropriate course of action

Oversee the Chart of Accounts (CoA) from a legal entity perspective

Monitor VAT submissions and other statutory reporting and ensure submission to local authorities

Cooperate closely with tax authorities

Oversee and document internal accounting control procedures

Assist with financial statement preparation

Cooperate with external partners, including auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities

Participate in internal projects requiring statutory consultancy and expertise (e.g., new products, new market entry)

Take responsibility for complex accounting and reporting matters

Provide leadership and work guidance to general ledger accountants

Cooperate closely with the General Ledger Manager and Country Controllers on various tasks and projects

Participate in special projects by supporting management and project teams
