We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Prague. In this hands-on technical role, you will be responsible for the implementation, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our enterprise network environment across both on-premises and cloud-connected infrastructure.

You will play a key role in ensuring stable, secure, and reliable network services that support business operations. Working closely with a senior network lead and cross-functional IT teams, you will contribute to operational excellence, network standardization, and ongoing infrastructure evolution.

• Proven experience in network engineering or administration within an enterprise environment
• Strong practical knowledge of:
  • LAN / WAN / WLAN
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Routing & switching
  • VPN technologies
  • Basic network security concepts
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking hardware (switches, routers, firewalls)
• Experience troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues and identifying root causes
• Experience working in a structured IT operations environment

• Experience with hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud)
• Familiarity with:
  • Enterprise Wi-Fi
  • SD-WAN
  • Remote access solutions
  • Network monitoring tools
• Experience with firewall management and network segmentation
• Exposure to office rollouts, standardization initiatives, or post-acquisition integrations
• Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform)
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent

• Implement, maintain, and support enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, internet edge, and cloud-connected environments
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and connectivity components
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues
• Investigate and resolve network incidents, service requests, and recurring problems
• Support delivery of network changes, upgrades, migrations, and rollouts
• Collaborate with the senior network engineer on standardization, simplification, and convergence initiatives
• Contribute to secure operations, including firewall policies, segmentation, and remote access
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
• Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and workplace teams
• Support onboarding and integration of newly acquired entities into the network environment
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed
• Follow established change management and operational best practices
• Contribute ideas to improve network reliability, monitoring, and efficiency
