We’re looking for a detail-driven Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll, ensure flawless inputs, and coordinate with our payroll provider. You’ll collaborate across departments, use HRIS/payroll systems with accuracy, and bring both strong data skills and clear communication to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Education: Secondary degree in Finance/Accounting required; university degree a plus.

  • Languages: Fluent Czech/Slovak and English; other languages an advantage.

  • Experience: 5+ years in payroll/financial administration, with knowledge of Czech & Slovak legislation and payroll tax compliance.

  • Expertise: Strong grasp of statutory deductions, benefits, social security, and payroll best practices (incl. split payroll, multi-country payroll).

  • Skills: Excellent accuracy with data/numbers, advanced Excel/BI, strong analytical skills.

  • Confidence: Experienced, resourceful, able to handle complex payroll questions.

  • Communication: Clear, professional in Czech/Slovak and English; collaborative with all departments.

  • Teamwork: Service-minded, detail-oriented, patient, adaptable, able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiar with benefit plans (retirement, pensions, life/health insurance).

  • Consolidation of the time and attendance data, reporting on it and applying corrections
  • Submit and report on allowances & deductions, communicate those with relevant departments (Finance, HR)
  • Follow and maintain the standard of a proper approval from upper managements towards relevant payments
  • Cooperating with payroll providers for WAG entities in countries in scope
  • Support Employees in tax related queries
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports based on the business need
  • Closely collaborate with HR Generalist team to ensure quality and timeline for pay inputs
  • Closely collaborate with C&B team to ensure quality and timeline for benefit inputs
  • Communicate with Employees and stakeholders on payroll related matters
  • Participate and suggest process improvements
