As a General Ledger Accountant, you'll play a key role in our dynamic Finance team, ensuring accurate and timely month-end closings that directly impact our Balance Sheet and P&L. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and posting journal entries, ensuring the accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting the resolution of various accounting matters- all in line with local regulations and IFRS standards.
- 2+ of accounting experience as a GL accountant
- Solid accounting knowledge (IFRS oriented advantage)
- Experience in a multinational corporation – advantage
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
- Be Team Player, supportive and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks
- Ability to set priorities and work under time pressure with can-do attitude.
- MS Office skills, advanced level in MS Excel
- Knowledge of SAP Hana ERP system is advantage
- Perform GL Journal entries – accruals, deferrals, assets accounting, cash accounting, stock
- Complete VAT Agenda for the foreign EW Entity, that includes VAT booking, settlements, communication with the local advisor
- Overseeing recharges process including billing and responsibility for the relevant BS accounts
- Perform a Month End Closing activities
- Responsibility of booking Intercompany journals and oversee the Intercompany process - settlements, manual invoices, loan interests, IC balances review.
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations including supporting explanations and ensure follow up on outstanding balances and taking corrective action.
- Support the Team Leader with ad hoc projects, issue resolution and continuous process improvement
