The Telematics Hunter Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving new telematics business growth primarily within medium and large transport customers through consultative solution selling.
The role manages the full telematics sales cycle including lead qualification, customer needs analysis, solution demonstrations, testing coordination, commercial negotiation, contract closure and onboarding.
SME telematics opportunities are primarily handled by Inside Sales Managers, while this Hunter role focuses mainly on medium and large fleet customers with more complex operational and telematics requirements.
The role requires strong operational understanding of transport companies and the ability to demonstrate how telematics solutions solve everyday fleet management and transport operation challenges.
The Telematics Hunter Area Sales Manager is expected to operate as a specialized growth driver for Eurowag telematics solutions within medium and large fleet customers.
Success in the role requires proactive opportunity generation, strong consultative sales capabilities, deep operational understanding of transport companies, disciplined pipeline management, and the ability to convert operational challenges into value-based telematics solutions.
The role is not a transactional sales position, but a consultative commercial role focused on long-term customer value creation and successful adoption of Eurowag telematics services.

- Experience in consultative B2B sales, telematics, fleet operations, transport operations, or related commercial transport environments
- Strong understanding of transport operations and fleet management challenges
- Ability to communicate operational value to transport customers
- Commercial mindset with customer-facing experience
- Experience managing customer relationships and solution discussions
- Fluent Hungarian and good command of English
- Valid driving license
Preferred Experience
- Experience in telematics, fleet management, SaaS or mobility solutions
- Experience in transport dispatching, fleet operations, or logistics coordination
- Experience in consultative or solution-based selling
- Commercial Road Transport (CRT) market knowledge

- Maintain accurate CRM pipeline and sales reporting
- Cooperate closely with peer sales teams, onboarding and customer success teams
