Bring the drive
The Head of Corporate Services & HSE is a senior director-level role responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of four key corporate functions: Property & Asset Management, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Fleet Management, and Office Management across Eurowag's European operations.
The role is the direct line manager of the Group Property and Asset Manager, Group Fleet Manager, Group Office Manager, and Head of Corporate HSE.
The position combines strategic direction with hands-on leadership — owning the long-term vision, concepts, and consolidated budget for all four domains, while remaining operationally close and stepping in directly where needed. Strategic Leadership & Direction
• Set the strategic vision, multi-year roadmap, and operating model for all four functions (Fleet, Office, Property & Asset, HSE) in alignment with corporate strategy and COO priorities.
• Develop functional concepts and frameworks that drive consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all Corporate Services domains.
• Act as the senior decision-maker across all areas; ensure cross-functional priorities are clear and issues are resolved quickly.
• Maintain active relationships with COO, CFO, HR, Legal, and Procurement to keep Corporate Services aligned with broader business priorities.
People Leadership & Team Development
• Directly manage four senior direct reports: Group Fleet Manager, Group Office Manager, Group Property and Asset Manager, and Head of Corporate HSE.
• Set clear objectives, provide regular coaching and feedback, and build a cohesive, high-performing leadership team with a shared accountability mindset.
• Remain hands-on: stay operationally close to each domain, maintain visibility into day-to-day delivery, and step in directly to solve complex challenges when needed.
• Promote a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement across the entire Corporate Services organization.
Budget Ownership & Financial Governance
• Own and consolidate the end-to-end budget across all four functions; lead the annual planning cycle and provide reliable cost baselines and investment cases to COO and Finance.
• Monitor financial performance across all domains, drive cost efficiency, and approve significant vendor contracts and capital expenditures within defined authority levels.
Concept Development & Policy Ownership
• Design and implement Group-level policies, standards, and governance frameworks across fleet, workplace, property, and HSE.
• Lead development of strategic concepts in response to growth, regulatory change, or transformation — including office expansion, fleet electrification, ESG commitments, and workplace strategy.
Operational Oversight
• Provide strategic direction, guidance, and accountability across all four direct report functions — ensuring each operates effectively, within budget, and in compliance with applicable regulations and Group standards.
• Set KPIs and performance targets for each function; monitor delivery, approve key decisions, and resolve issues or risks requiring director-level engagement.
• Approve significant decisions across all domains: fleet acquisition and disposal strategies, major office or property projects, lease negotiations, and HSE regulatory matters.
• Ensure all four functions maintain a proactive approach to compliance, risk management, and ESG commitments across all European locations. • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate services, facilities, fleet, HSE, or a combined multi-domain leadership role with comparable scope.
• Proven track record of leading senior managers and building high-performing, multidisciplinary teams in a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated experience owning and managing consolidated budgets across multiple operational functions.
• Strong strategic thinking and concept development skills — able to translate business needs into functional strategies and governance frameworks.
• Experience managing regulatory compliance across multiple European countries.
• Strong stakeholder management skills — comfortable presenting and engaging at COO/board level.
• Hands-on leadership style operates at both strategic and operational levels; does not delegate away accountability.
• Fluency in English is required.
