We are looking for a Head of Analytics and BPM who will lead Eurowag's analytics function and build our Business Performance Management capability from the ground up. This is a leadership role covering four connected disciplines: business intelligence and the executive reporting estate, business performance management and the governed scorecard, analytical diagnostics and forecast versus actual, and self-serve analytics enablement across the business. You will lead these teams through their managers and act as the connective tissue between the Data Governance function, the Planning Operating Model, Finance, and the executive team.

This role is built on a simple accountability: when a number changes at Eurowag, your function explains why it changed, how it changed, and puts that explanation in front of the accountable owner for a ruling. You will own the single executive scorecard on our governed KPIs, run the operating rhythm of monthly and quarterly performance reviews, and set the multi-year vision for how Eurowag moves from producing reports to producing explanations. Your function never sets a target and never owns a business outcome; it is the impartial scorekeeper the rest of the company can trust.
  • Substantial experience leading an analytics, business intelligence, or FP&A-adjacent function at scale, including leading teams through other managers
  • Proven track record building or running a performance management capability in an environment where numbers are externally reported, such as a listed company or a regulated industry, and understanding of what it means when a disclosed metric moves
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose metric movements at the root: distinguishing genuine business performance from definition changes and data artifacts, and defending that diagnosis to senior leaders
  • Strong working knowledge of a modern Microsoft data stack (Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Power BI, semantic models) alongside dimensional modeling and scorecard design
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate an executive review where variance is diagnosed rather than presented, and to deliver an unwelcome number with its explanation intact
  • Experience rationalizing a sprawling reporting estate into a trusted, governed core, and driving adoption of self-serve analytics against it
  • Experience in multi-country, multi-entity environments, ideally including post-acquisition analytics integration
  • Experience in mobility, logistics, transport, fintech, or enterprise software is preferred
  • Proficiency in analytics and delivery tooling such as Power BI or equivalent BI platforms, JIRA, Confluence, and Miro
  • Define and own the multi-year analytics and BPM strategy and roadmap, aligned to the Data & AI mission themes and resilient to an SAP migration.
  • Lead a multi-team function through managers across business intelligence, performance management, and analytics enablement. Hire, level, and develop those leaders and build succession within the function.
  • Build and own the single executive scorecard on the governed KPI set, consuming definitions from the Data Governance function, so that ExCo, the Board, QBRs, and investor materials all read from one consistent source.
  • Establish and run the BPM operating rhythm: monthly executive performance reviews, quarterly deep dives aligned to QBRs and board reporting, and an annual feed of actuals and learnings into the planning cycle.
  • Own the explanation standard: every material KPI movement arrives at review pre-classified as business, definition, or data, with a proposed diagnosis and a named owner for the ruling, and with decisions and corrective actions tracked to outcome.
  • Define and guarantee KPI freshness SLAs covering refresh rates, processing lag, and reporting lag, and report on the function's own performance against them.
  • Build driver trees behind the top KPIs so that variance conversations move from what happened to why, and stand up forecast versus actual on every governed KPI.
  • Close priority instrumentation gaps in the executive narrative, starting with cross-sell and platform-adoption reporting and migration cohort economics.
  • Rationalize the reporting estate from its current sprawl into a governed core, retiring inactive reports and consolidating parallel decks into the scorecard, and drive self-serve adoption against certified semantic models.
  • Partner with Investor Relations and Finance so that every externally reported metric carries a reconciled methodology and a ready explanation for its movement before results are published.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed the performance rhythm where decisions are made, while keeping target-setting and outcome ownership in the business.
  • Safeguard the function's neutrality: no revenue or cost target of its own, one calculation per KPI, and the same answer given to every audience.
  • Represent analytics and BPM in audit and Board-facing reviews with evidence and controls rather than narrative.
  • Drive automation and AI into the function itself, including automated anomaly and variance detection, AI-assisted diagnostics, and generated commentary, so that explanation scales without scaling headcount.
