*This position will work Mondays & Tuesdays in the office from 7:45am - 5:00 pm

Primary Job Functions

As the first point of contact for clients, prospects and vendors at our headquarters in Plymouth, MN, the receptionist is to provide the highest level of compassionate customer service to individuals to improve and enrich their lives.

Reception Duties:

  • Responsible to welcome clients and provide a high level of customer service to visiting clients, prospects, vendors, etc.

  • Handle incoming calls for appointments and service needs through switchboard maintenance

  • Enthusiastically greet and announce clients/guests

  • Prepare and maintain guest lounge and beverage stations and obtain beverages for clients

Maintain Reception Area and Kitchen:

  • Maintain office cleanliness and client preparedness:

    • Ensure dishes are clean and guest kitchen area is properly maintained

    • Order various beverages and candy, from Lunds & Byerlys, for clients/guests

    • Ensure the Reception Area is tidy for client visits

  • Manage incoming and outgoing USPS, FedEx, and UPS mail deliveries

Project Assistance:

  • Under the direction of the Executive Assistant – Sales & Marketing, assist various departments within WEG for the advancement of the organization

  • Other duties as assigned

Education | Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • 2 + Years Office/Reception Experience

  • 2 year college degree a plus

  • Strong work ethic, including dependability, timeliness and ability to occasionally work additional hours to cover job share partner’s time off

  • Friendly, outgoing, positive attitude

  • Professional appearance and phone voice in all interactions with clients, customers & coworkers

  • Customer Service experience a must

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management

  • Ability to prioritize work flow and projects; work in a deadline environment and be flexible

  • Detail oriented

  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work as a Team Member

  • TIME OFF PREVIOUSLY ARRANGED WITH SUPERVISOR/JOB SHARE PARTNER – Two week notice preferred
