Our New York City office is looking for a Client Service Associate who will work as part of an advisory team, help clients achieve their financial goals, and provide client service that exceeds clients' expectations. The Client Service Associate plays a critical role in the operational and advisory functions of this practice. With responsibility for the day-to-day operational duties of the firm, the Client Service Associate helps keep the client engagement running smoothly and ensures that all client paperwork and processing is handled in a timely, accurate, and professional manner while supporting our client-facing advisors with reporting and data management.
This is a hybrid position (3-days in-office each week; typically Tuesday-Thursday).
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $60,000.00 to $70,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions
Work with the operations and advisor teams to actively manage client relationships, service accounts, and support financial advisors with ad-hoc reporting.
Serve the client by setting up accounts and ensuring their funds transfer from surrendering company
Respond to and resolve client requests; complete necessary financial paperwork to execute trades, change beneficiaries, establish trusts, open accounts, transfer funds, etc.
Research and complete any outstanding issues related to Operations
Gather data and prepare summary reports for their use in client reviews; compile the review documents for the Advisor
Manually upload account values into the team’s Performance Reporting System
Learn Company product suitability guidelines and financial operational processes
Generate ad-hoc client reports as needed
Review the execution of trades daily
Prepare trade sheets to be reviewed by advisors
Provide client’s tax accountants with information for returns/projections, download and distribute client’s 1099s, prepare and maintain specialized schedules or income tax purposes
Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Operations
Adhere to the Wealth Enhancement Group’s Corporate Communication Strategy and be in good compliance standing
Education/Qualifications
4-year degree preferred
2+ years of financial administration and/or customer service experience within the financial service industry
Strong interpersonal skills required to develop team and client relationships
Professional presence and communication skills
An ability to follow detailed directions from other team members
Strong attention to detail and process
Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation
A strong focus on getting the details right
Excellent organizational and time management skills
An ability to handle multiple tasks within tight time frames
WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as the Associate level is $51,450.00 to $84,000.00. However, the base salary range bolded above ($60,000.00 to $70,000.00) is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
