We're hiring a Transition Support Specialist (TSS) to assist newly acquired Advisor Teams with transitioning their existing client accounts/business. The key function of the TSS will be to support the repapering process and integration efforts to ensure effective, efficient and client friendly experience. Key functions will include completing and coordinating Wealth Enhancement client paperwork, custodial account openings, transfers of assets (TOA), and ancillary account features (such as standing payment instructions, checkwriting, and systematic transactions). The TSS plays a key role in ensuring all transition activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with compliance and custodial standards, providing exceptional client experience. This position may also provide day-to-day client service support to new teams and may include some travel.
This is a hybrid position that requires the ability to work on-site from our office in Plymouth, MN as needed. This position is project-based and on-site presence requirements will fluctuate throughout the year and project cycles.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $80,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions
Bulk Repapering & Account Transitions
Manage the end-to-end bulk repapering process across WEAS advisory paperwork, custodial paperwork, and Broker/Dealer documents (when applicable)
Accurately prepare and process account opening documentation, ensuring timely and compliant establishment of new accounts
Oversee and execute the transfer of assets (TOA) process, monitoring for completion and escalating issues when necessary
Set up and validate ancillary account features such as standing payment instructions, ACH, checkwriting, systematic contributions, and required minimum distributions
Maintain accurate account records in Salesforce (CRM) and track repapering progress across all client households
Client Relationship & Team Support
Partner with Advisor Teams to ensure smooth client transitions, communicating proactively on outstanding items
Research and resolve account transition issues in coordination with custodians, vendors, and internal partners
Provide ongoing service support during onboarding months, including transactions, deposits, and withdrawals as needed
Industry / Custodian Experience
Demonstrate deep knowledge of account opening and TOA processes for advisory and brokerage accounts; experience with NFS, Fidelity, or Schwab custodial platforms strongly preferred
Stay current on Wealth Enhancement Group’s Suitability Guidelines, operational processes, and regulatory requirements
Maintain working proficiency with financial products, including mutual funds, annuities, equities, fixed income, and alternatives
Corporate & Process Support
Support corporate projects that enhance repapering workflows and client transition efficiency
Provide feedback on system and process improvements, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Share best practices across the Transition Support team, aligning with CSO’s career progression framework
Education / Qualifications
4-year college degree preferred
5+ years of financial services experience required, with direct experience in account opening, transfers of assets, and repapering processes
Prior custodial experience with NFS, Fidelity, or Schwab strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high volumes with accuracy and efficiency
Excellent communication skills, with a client service mindset and ability to partner across teams
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred
Openness to minimal travel - generally limited to 1-2 team onsite meetings annually
WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified at the individual contributor level is $67,300,00 to $97,600.00. However, the base salary range bolded above ($70,000.00 to $80,000.00) is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
