We have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Lease Manager! This position is responsible for oversight and management of the Wealth Enhancement office lease portfolio. This position will oversee all aspects of lease management including lease strategy, lease negotiation ongoing portfolio records management and property expense management.

This is a fully remote position.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $87,400.00 to $95,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions

Document Management and Reporting

  • Maintain and organize all real estate legal and financial documents.

  • Manage the lease system of record in partnership with third-party providers.

  • Review and resolve issues from abstraction report and verify lease information, ensuring 100% data integrity.

  • Generate and distribute real estate reports (e.g., payment activity, expense savings, landlord expenses).

  • Support Finance and third-party provide in reconciling rent accounts to ensure compliance with lease terms.

  • Provide financial lease obligations for company reporting.

  • Oversee tracking of critical dates and tasks via third-party systems.

  • Design and deliver periodic and ad hoc reports using Excel and real estate management software.

Act as liaison Cross-Departmental Liaison

  • Interpret lease language and advise teams on maintenance, repair, and other obligations.

  • Ensure timely processing of operating expense reconciliations and reimbursements.

  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance to identify and fulfill reporting needs.

  • Support audit requests and escalate concerns as needed.

  • Assist with additional real estate projects as required.

Portfolio Financial Management

  • Review CAM and property tax reconciliations for accuracy; address discrepancies with landlords.

  • Analyze property tax billing as applicable.

  • Gather market lease intelligence for acquisition offices and share insights with leadership.

  • Support Facilities Specialists in managing tenant allowances.

  • Conduct comparative and financial analyses of real estate matters.

  • Review lease documents and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.

Vendor Management

  • Resolve day-to-day inquiries from landlords and internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate landlord and vendor records, including address changes, ownership transfers, and contact updates.

  • Process requests for Certificates of Insurance (COIs), Subordination, Non-Disturbance and Attornment Agreements (SNDAs), and Estoppel Certificates.

  • Serve as the primary contact for all lease administration matters.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and landlords.

Lease Negotiations

  • Partner with stakeholders to determine space requirements that both meet the needs of the stakeholder as well as the broader real estate strategy

  • Collaborate with Facilities team to define tenant improvement needs for lease negotiations.

  • Direct brokers in drafting lease documents (amendments, renewals, terminations) and correspondence.

  • Assist broker teams with lease negotiations.

  • Lead lease strategy meetings.

  • Partner with Legal to prepare lease documentation for management review.

  • Review and process lease documents for signature.

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate and lease administration.

  • Advanced understanding of complex lease terminology.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

  • Financial and analytical acumen with creative problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and lease management tools (APEX, Vantage Analytics, Transact).

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as the Lead level is $87,400.00 to $131,100.00. However, the base salary range bolded above is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
