We have an exciting opportunity for an Advisor Team Operational Consultant! The Advisor Team Operational Consultant drives advisor team productivity, efficiency, and consistency by streamlining workflows, improving system adoption, and enabling high-quality client service. This role bridges advisor team and home office functions to ensure scalable, compliant, and effective operations across the firm. Consultants are expected to travel regularly to advisor offices to lead in-person assessments and training, while also providing ongoing virtual consultations and operational support.
This role is a fully remote position.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $110,000.00 to $130,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions
Advisor Team Enablement & Training
Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing advisor team members.
Drive adoption and effective use of operational and AI productivity tools (e.g., Salesforce, Orion, Microsoft 365, and emerging AI-enabled platforms) to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Provide support via email/phone and lead open office hours for continued learning.
Track support requests to identify training gaps and opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve training programs and resources.
Operational Consulting & Process Optimization
Conduct assessments to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Define and implement best practices for core advisor team workflows.
Develop standardized procedures to reduce operational risk.
Monitor KPIs and recommend adjustments to improve performance.
Partner with internal departments to align operational strategies.
Strategic Project & Integration Support
Lead or support cross-functional projects to enhance advisor team performance.
Participate in pre-acquisition meetings and lead integration training efforts.
Create and manage implementation plans with accountability check-ins.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with firm-wide initiatives.
Use competency checklists to validate training adoption and identify needs.
Coaching, Mentorship & Team Development
Mentor new ATO team members and provide process coaching for complex issues.
Ensure consistency in training delivery and milestone tracking.
Escalate process issues and propose solutions aligned with department goals.
Lead special projects to advocate for advisor team experience.
Promote continuous improvement through peer coaching and feedback.
Reporting, Feedback & Resource Management
Create dashboards and reports to track advisor team performance.
Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Elevate advisor team feedback to influence system and process enhancements.
Review and request updates to training materials and operational resources.
Collaborate with Platform Enablement to stay ahead of system changes.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business or related field; advanced designation preferred.
5+ years in advisory team operations, consulting, or training roles.
Strong knowledge of broker-dealer and custodial platforms and investment products.
Experience working with teams as a lead trainer, workflow coordinator, or manager.
Proficient in Salesforce, Orion, Microsoft Office; Workday experience a plus.
Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as the Individual Contributor level is $104,800.00 to $157,200.00. However, the base salary range bolded above is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
