Description

Zifo is growing! We are looking for a Country Manager to lead our expansion into Latin America. The incumbent will closely partner with senior leadership to develop and execute the strategic and operational goals of LATAM Service Team. He/she will be responsible for building and leading a local, on-site team supporting various technologies, analytics and digital capabilities aligning with enterprise IT strategies and product roadmaps.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for market expansion in the LATAM region. Identify business opportunities, market trends, and potential partnerships to drive growth.
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the LATAM operations. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with corporate goals.
  • Drive sales efforts to achieve revenue targets in the LATAM market. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Hire, train, and manage a high-performing team. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability. Monitor financial performance and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Stay informed about and ensure compliance with local regulations and business practices. Manage relationships with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business in the LATAM region. Implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry influencers. Negotiate and manage partnerships that contribute to the company's success.

Actively manage customer relationships, anticipate customer needs, understand customer’s organizational dynamics and stakeholders, and address any escalations that arise. Implement strategies to enhance the customer experience.

  • Develop strategic and collaborative partnerships with the leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with global Service Providers or Technology Consulting firms.
  • Strong business acumen with proven track record of building and leading teams in Latin America.
  • Has an established local network to support business operations (HR/Accounts/Legal), Talent Acquisition and business development activities.
  • Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize, align and simplify.
  • Ability to become the trusted partner and advisor to customers and stakeholders in the market by demonstrating deep domain knowledge of the commercial business.
  • Track record of effectively collaborating with globally diverse teams, using strengths across varied functional areas
  • Decisive, entrepreneurial, flexible, with an innovative approach to operational management
  • Excellent customer service skills complemented by an ability to listen and interpret client needs.
  • Multi-lingual with mature interpersonal skills.
  • Highly effective communication skills to interact with, relate to, negotiate with, and effectively influence the local leaders.
  • Ability to create and foster a highly collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify, track and complete tasks for multiple projects.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, Engineering, Science or Business is required
  • 10+ years of relevant experience within LATAM including (but not limited to); Business Development, Application Support Delivery, IT Leadership
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values, impeccable integrity, and the energy level required to meet the demands of the position.
  • Track record of success as a technology leader working with business leadership teams in pharmaceutical or other technology advanced industry with focus on driving technology and data strategy in a commercial environment.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese are required.
  • Availability to travel up to 25%
