Senior Systems Administrator

ZoomInfo is seeking a highly skilled & experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our global IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and maintaining complex computer systems and platforms. The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the productivity, reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT SaaS platforms and other infrastructure.

What you will do:

  • System Administration:
    • Install, configure, and maintain Enterprise level SaaS platforms such as GSuite, Slack, Box, etc and other IT infrastructure components.
    • Proactively Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
    • Implement system upgrades and patches in a timely manner.
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
    • User Rights Management: Creation and modification for enterprise applications
    • Quarterly User Audits: Conduct audits to ensure compliance and security within enterprise systems.
    • Change Management: Develop and oversee the process for implementing changes to enterprise systems.
    • Vendor Liaison: Act as a liaison between vendors and internal business units for system changes, updates, and enhancements.
    • Problem Solver: Solve Enterprise System issues with strong troubleshooting skills and collaboration skills.
    • Incident Response: Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve enterprise system issues urgently.
  • Security Management:
    • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities in close partnership with our CyberSecurity team.
    • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments with the CyberSecurity team to identify potential security risks and weaknesses.
    • Respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
  • Documentation and Training:
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
    • Provide training, mentorship, and technical support to end-users and IT staff as needed.
  • Other Required Skills
  • Self-starter with ability to move forward independently and in partnership with local and global teammates.
  • Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills: Crucial for effective liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders / partners.
  • Vendor Management Experience: Proficiency in managing relationships and collaborations with vendors and other internal teams.
  • Enterprise Application Expertise: Experience with GSuite, Box, Slack, RingCentral, Okta, others
  • Change Management: Ability to develop and manage change processes for enterprise systems.
  • Incident Response Handling: Aptitude in promptly addressing and coordinating responses to system incidents.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in system administration, preferably in a senior or lead role.
  • Proficiency in administering Windows, iOS, other operating systems.
  • Proficiency in administering GSuite, Slack, Okta, Box, RingCentral, ServiceNOW, others.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong working knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalling, routing, switching, etc).
  • Robust Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are desirable.

Work Environment:

The Senior Systems Administrator will work primarily in an office environment, and will be required to provide remote support and occasional on-call support outside of regular business hours. Past experience working with IT teammates in EMEA, Asia, and Americas strongly preferred.
