ZoomInfo is seeking an experienced Travel & Expense Operations Specialist with a background in Accounts Payable to join our Finance department. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain strategic travel partnerships, manage the end-to-end travel and expense function, and assist with Accounts Payable daily operations. This role requires strong leadership, analysis, and communication with stakeholders.
What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)
Travel Partnerships and Vendor Management
- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with travel vendors, airlines, and booking platforms
- Negotiate corporate travel rates and implement cost-saving agreements
- Collaborate with procurement to optimize travel supplier contracts
- Analyze travel spending patterns and recommend strategic improvements
- Work with travel systems product owners on ensuring smooth processes, workflow enhancements, and systems operations
Expense Management and Reporting
- Process and reconcile travel expense reports
- Perform advanced three-way matching and expense verification
- Generate comprehensive financial reports and dashboards
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Manage corporate travel credit card programs
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for travel expense systems
- Perform month-end reconciliations and accruals
Accounts Payable Function
- Maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure smooth operations, provide support and review of invoices, payment processing, supplier onboarding, and troubleshoot integration issues between boundary systems
- Participate in month-end close processes for AP, which include but are not limited to accruals, reconciliations and flux analyses
- Monitor compliance and perform quarterly reviews to ensure adherence to SOX requirements
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding PTP operations
- Work with Accounts Payable Manager in Chennai, IN on driving KPIs upward on timeliness of payments, invoice approvals, vendor responses, and cash outflow review
- Assisting Senior AP Manager with projects as assigned
What You Bring (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of high volume experience in travel expense management and accounts payable
- Proficiency in Accounting Systems:
- Brex or equivalent (Ramp, Concur, Expensify)
- Navan (TripActions) or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of global travel industry systems and partnerships
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, Accounts Payable and General Ledger function
- Excellence in communication skills
Helpful to Have (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with global travel program management
- Experience with global accounts payable processes
- Knowledge of international travel compliance regulations
- Adaptability to process changes and dynamic business environments
- SAP or Coupa Expense Management
