Why This Role Matters
Every role at Kinective exists to move the needle for our clients, partners, and the financial institutions we serve. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing product positioning for your product line, increasing the profitability of existing product features and introducing new product features to enable clients and partners to meet their market needs and grow the services they provide to their customers. You will take ownership of delivery of your product line’s roadmap initiatives and partner with Product and Engineering leadership as well as development squads to turn priorities into scalable results that drive success for both Kinective and our clients.
What you’ll own
Contribute to your Product Line’s roadmap
- Collaborate with Product Leadership on the definition of the Product Line strategy and roadmap.
- Understand and leverage data that influences the product roadmap, including market trends, competitive analysis, and client feedback.
- Engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify strategic initiatives and specify market requirements for current and future product features.
Deliver on your Product Line’s roadmap initiatives
- Articulate and quantify the business value of product initiatives with data-driven decisions.
- Partner with UX, Product, and Engineering to distill large concepts into small, deliverable projects with minimal guidance from leadership.
- Manage the entire Product Management Lifecycle (PMLC) from strategic planning to tactical activities.
Mentor and guide the Product Delivery Team
- Actively participate in Initiative Planning/Scoping processes and Agile ceremonies to ensure clear understanding of the expected outcome of a release.
- Provide mentorship to Product Owners to ensure clear scoping of product releases, quality user stories for release planning, and guidance to GTM materials.
- Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing to ensure successful launch of product releases, including release notes, training, and GTM activities.
How We’ll Measure Success
- Delivering on roadmap initiatives for your Product Line with consistency and success.
- Owning client and stakeholder engagement for your Product line to gain insights and validate product performance in real-world use cases.
- Working effectively with Engineering, UX, Sales, Marketing, and Client Support teams to ensure cohesive product development and launch.
- Improving how work gets done by overseeing and supporting Agile product development practices to ensure squads are effectively managing backlogs, refining requirements, and driving development to complete on time and within scope for each roadmap release.

Necessary Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry-specific experience).
- 4+ years of industry experience in the Banking or FinTech space.
- 4+ years of experience in Product Management or 3+ years of experience with Product Line specific products (implementation, support, and/or internal champion at a client).
- Certification in Product Management and/or Agile practices preferred (e.g. CSPO, CSM, PMC I-IX).
- Proficiency in Agile Delivery methodologies (Flow Framework, Kanban, Scrum, XP, and/or SAFe).
- Proven track record of delivering multi-phase projects (initiation to execution).
- Expertise in breaking down software or technology implementation projects into phases, including product requirements identification and deriving actionable user stories from requirements.
- Results-oriented with a demonstrated sense of urgency and the ability to assess situations and make clear, data-driven decisions.
Pay, Benefits & Total Rewards
$90,000 – $115,000
The salary range listed reflects the minimum and maximum for this role. Individual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, job-related skills, location, and internal equity, and most offers are not made at the top of the range. Base pay is one part of Kinective’s Total Rewards package. Depending on the role, employees may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or equity.
