Job Description

As part of a larger Data Team, your primary responsibility will be managing our Unit4 FP&A tool alongside two colleagues. Unit4 FP&A is a comprehensive software solution designed to streamline financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes, helping organizations achieve optimal financial performance at a reduced cost.

You will be responsible for collecting, transforming, and modeling data, building reports and dashboards, and ensuring all outputs align with our business goals and financial objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes, system integration, and technical troubleshooting, while demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, identify, and resolve data quality and integrity issues with strong attention to detail.
  • Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions to improve financial operations.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Unit4 FP&A.
  • Develop and maintain well-organized data models for efficient analysis.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring seamless data flow across systems and departments.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users while troubleshooting and resolving data or system issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics).
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, including experience in complex database development, reporting, and automation.
  • Familiarity with CRM (preferably Dynamics CRM) and ERP systems. Expertise in Power BI or similar BI tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with excellent stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
  • Proficiency in cleaning, preprocessing, and organizing raw data.
  • Expertise in visualization tools like Power BI or similar.
  • Ability to create clear, insightful, and visually engaging reports, charts, and graphs.
  • Skilled in communicating complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in database systems with the ability to write complex queries.
  • Experience working with relational and cloud data platforms (e.g., MS SQL, Snowflake).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating across departments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to clearly convey findings.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong prioritization skills to focus on the most critical analyses.
  • Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest trends in data analytics and financial reporting tools.
  • Proactive in seeking opportunities for skill development and technical advancements.
  • Adhering to data privacy regulations and upholding ethical standards in all aspects of data handling.

Office: Lisbon, expected onsite presence 2-3 days a week.
