Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer:
You have an active role participating in the definition and evolution of our software, ensuring alignment with long-term technical and architectural vision, scalability, and maintainability while using clean design principles and simplicity.
You participate in implementing user stories, writing high-quality, maintainable code with emphasis on Test-Driven Development (TDD) and robust unit and integration testing strategies.
You play an active role within Agile teams: specially in refinement phase and code reviews, aligned with Agile best practices and continuous delivery.
You perform root-cause analysis of defects, designing comprehensive and sustainable solutions that improve the resilience and reliability of the system.
Qualifications
- More than 2 years of experience in the .NET platform, with C# programming skills.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and understanding of full-stack development is advantageous.
- Participation in code refactoring activities and experience helping to ensure coding standards are followed to reduce technical debt.
- Being able of debugging, profiling, and develop analytical skills, so you are capable of identify performance bottlenecks and system issues.
- Experience working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and understanding of cloud platforms (preferably Azure); knowledge of DevOps pipelines and security best practices is a plus.
- Experience with C++ is considered a valuable asset, especially for legacy systems or performance-critical components.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, TDD, and Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD).
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
