Job Description

Location: United Kingdom

We’re looking for a high-impact Sales Lead to spearhead the growth of our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) solutions across our existing customer base. This is a player-coach role—ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic leadership and hands-on selling.

As the FP&A Sales Lead, you’ll drive adoption of Unit4 FP&A within customers using Unit4 ERP, ERPx, and Financials by CODA, while mentoring and enabling the broader sales team to succeed in this space.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead from the Front: Own and execute a targeted sales strategy to expand FP&A adoption across key accounts. You’ll be actively involved in high-value deals while guiding others to success.
  • Coach & Enable: Act as the FP&A subject matter expert, supporting Account Managers and Customer Success teams with training, deal strategy, and value messaging.
  • Strategic Selling: Position FP&A as a transformative solution for financial planning and decision-making. Tailor messaging to customer pain points and business outcomes.
  • Executive Engagement: Build trusted relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, and senior stakeholders. Lead strategic conversations that elevate FP&A to a board-level priority.
  • Pipeline Leadership: Drive pipeline generation through data insights, customer engagement, and proactive outreach. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Sales Excellence: Manage the full sales cycle—from discovery to close—with precision forecasting and consistent quota achievement.

What You Bring:

  • Proven success in enterprise software sales, ideally with experience in FP&A or financial solutions.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and enable others.
  • Confidence in engaging senior finance stakeholders and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for driving customer value.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in SaaS sales, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in FP&A sales or related roles, with a proven track record in account management.
  • Proven success and track record in leading sales teams with a minimum of 5 years' experience in FP&A sales or related roles, with a proven track record in account management.
  • experience in selling FP&A software.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, planning cycles, and performance management.
  • Experience working with existing customer bases to drive expansion and adoption.
  • Ability to engage and influence C-level executives, especially within Finance.
  • Collaborative mindset with a hunter mentality—comfortable working across teams to drive results.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial audiences
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, economic trends, and industry-specific regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong leadership qualities and experience in mentoring junior team members
