Job Description

The Senior Technical Solution Consultant's primary role is to build, manage and deliver first class content to support the solution consultants to have the best tools available to deliver great demos! The team is also heavily involved with new product releases, testing and advice to Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Industry Models, Buyer Enablement, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing.

Our FP&A Specialist Solution Consulting teams are one of the most important go-to-market functions that we have, without whom we simply would not be able to execute in the field. The FP&A Technical Solution Consultant is responsible for providing the central support and infrastructure required to enable global growth in Unit4, support sales and to embed consistency in our solution messages.

What you will do

Your role as a Senior Technical Solution Consultant - FP&A, you are the link between the the customer and wider team of Solution Consultants demoing our solutions. You will…

  • Be able to translate technology to persona-based demo content.
  • Ensuring all new releases have easy to follow content for solution consultants, including click-path scripts, videos and PowerPoints.
  • Carry out reviews of the system to ensure various demo scenarios have the correct data to provide great demos.
  • Maintain the Global Demo Operations Repository to allow SCs to pick up topics easier and deliver ‘out of the box’ demos or have the starting point for more detailed ones. This includes maintenance, documentation, and content creation.
  • Build any customer Proof of Concept models to enable the solution consultant to demo real value to prospects and customers.
  • Support the wider Unit4 Solution Consulting team with relevant integration points to ERP, ERPx, and U4fbC.
  • Ensure we have demo scenarios and data for solution presentations in all our priority countries which show our value in the PSO, Public Sector and NonProfit markets and which resonate with our customers.
  • You will help educate the wider solution consulting team on our product demonstration materials, key messaging, language and tone.
  • Manage RFI/RFP/InfoSec responses, prospect meetings, and on-site workshops.
  • Collaborate daily with Sales, Product Management, Security, Customer Success, Legal, and Marketing.
  • Align technical messaging with the value proposition defined by the account team.
  • Develop and standardize content and thought leadership around technical topics.
  • Anticipate and address industry- or customer-specific technical concerns.

Your approach

This is a critical role for Unit4 globally and as such you will be emotionally intelligent and able to support the creation of structure and process around our solution consulting demo infrastructure. It is critical that you have experience of solution consulting to help guide content. You are commercially aware and able to speak to internal and external customers at all levels. You are invested in working closely with the solution engineers, product marketing and product management to enable sales and solution consulting to understand and build our company identity. You keep up to date with our product direction.

Qualifications

  • You are experienced in FP&A software and model development.
  • You are experienced in solution consulting and implementation.
  • Ideally you have a solid understanding of general, financial processes.
  • You love interacting with other people and helping them work smarter and more efficiently.
  • You have strong business analysis skills as well as business acumen.
